Please note the Postgraduate Methodology & Statistics Courses that will be offerd at Utrecht University:

Spring 2018
1. Mplus: How to get started? A compact 1-day workshop on using Mplus, how to get the syntax running, how to interpret the output and what to do with error messages. 10 April 2018.(course code: S29)
2. Applied Bayesian Statistics; a 5-day course on the basics of Bayesian statistics, offering hands-on experience with OpenBUGS or R and JAGS. 30 April 2018 - 04 May 2018. (course code: S64)

Summer 2018 (Utrecht Summerschool)
1. Introduction to multilevel analysis; a 3-day course on the basics of multilevel modelling, offering hands-on experience with HLM. 4 - 6 July, 2018. (course code: S14)
2. Advanced Multilevel Analysis; a 3-day course on advanced topics in multilevel modelling, including categorical data analysis, missing data analysis and imputation and Bayesian inference. 9- 11 July, 2018. (Course code: S05)
3. Introduction to Structural Equation Modelling using Mplus; a 5-day course providing the basics of SEM and hands-on experience with Mplus. 2 - 6 July, 2018 (course code: S20)
4. Advanced course on using Mplus; a 5-day course for the more experienced Mplus user with a special focus on longitudinal modelling. 9 - 13 July, 2018. (course code: S23)
5. Addressing the replication crisis using (Bayesian) model selection. A 4-day applied course on causes of the replication crisis and addressing them by evaluating (informative) hypotheses using the Bayes factor and a generalization of the AIC. 16 July - 19 July 2018. (course code: S13).
6. Data Science: Statistical programming with R; a 5-day beginners course in doing statistical analyses with R. 16 - 20 July, 2018. (course code: S24)
7. Data Science: Multiple imputation in practice; a 4-day course on how to handle missing data appropriately using a modern and flexible imputation technique. 23 - 26 July, 2018. (course code: S28)
8. Data Science: Data analysis and visualization; a 5-day course offering hands-on experience with applying data analysis and visualization techniques, both venerable and novel, using R. 30 July – 3 August, 2018. (course code: S31)
9. Applied multivariate analysis; a 10-day course offering hands-on experience with SPSS for the most frequently encountered multivariate statistical techniques. 20 - 31 August, 2018. (course code: S04)
10. Survey research: Design, implementation, and data processing (in collaboration with CBS); a 5-day course covering the essentials of survey methodology and analysis. 20 - 24 August, 2018 (course code: S15)
11. Survey research: Statistical analysis and estimation (in collaboration with CBS); a 5-day in-depth course on total survey error (i.e., coverage, sampling, nonresponse, and measurement error). 27 - 31 August, 2018. (course code: S16)
12. A Gentle Introduction to Bayesian Statistics; a 5-day course gently introducing Bayesian estimation for linear regression analysis, factor analysis, mediation analysis, and longitudinal growth models.
27 August 2018 - 31 August 2018.(course code: S18)
13. Advanced Survey Design; a 4-day course. This course in ‘advanced survey design’ will discuss the state of the art in both the design of surveys, and the analysis of survey data. We explicitly discuss new ways to analyse text data and sensor data generated by modern surveys. 3 September – 6 September 2018 (course code S11)
