At the ICO National Spring School 2017 the jury of the Best Paper Awards had to choose between the papers of the two nominees, Marloes Nederhand (Erasmus University) and Xiaojing Sun (Utrecht University).  After the reading of the papers the jury members visited both presentations to make their final choice.

And, the winner is: Marloes Nederhand with her paper "Improving Calibration Accuracy on New Tasks for Different Performance Levels"

The jury reported the following strong points:
- The added value of the paper is clearly made explicit (e.g., no prior studies that included the role of performance level when investigating the effect of standards on calibration accuracy; conflicting findings);
- Clear and well-described theoretical and empirical frame of reference for the research aims and questions;
- Further, sound methodology;
- Well-written and clearly structured paper;
- Directly publishable.

Congratulations Marloes!
